- Profile
-
Since joining the Clinical Trials Research Unit in October 2019, I have progressed from Trials Support Officer to Research Assistant, then to my current role as Study Manager in May 2024.
I am currently managing the ToTs study (Treatment of Toddlers Fractures: Observation or Immobilisation). I also act as a FACTS-II Champion (Flourishing As Clinical Trial Staff - Implementation Insights), aiming to implement initiatives to improve workplace wellbeing.
I previously managed on the STOP-OHSS (Shaping and Trialling Outpatient Protocols for Ovarian HyperStimulation Syndrome) and BASIS (Bracing Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) trials.
Prior to joining the CTRU, I gained experience in labs, most recently as a Medical Laboratory Assistant within the Cytology department at Hallamshire Hospital. I also hold an integrated Master’s in Biology from the University of Sheffield (2017), where I specialised in using multispectral imaging for plant disease detection.
