Masters study discovery fair

Speak to Sheffield staff experts to find out everything you need to know about masters study. The information stands include:

  • Postgraduate fees and funding
  • Careers and employability
  • Admissions
  • Student support services
  • Dyslexia and disability support services

You can also chat to some of our current postgraduate students at their own stand. This is a great chance to ask how they funded their course, or balanced life with the greater demands of masters study.

Campus tours

Tours leave at either 1pm or 2pm and will take around 45 minutes. You can book a tour time slot at the fair in the Students’ Union when you first arrive.

Your tour will be led by one of our current postgraduate students, so it’s another great opportunity to find out their personal experiences of master study here.

Our tours do involve a fair amount of walking, inside and outside, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Subject opportunities

A small number of our faculties and schools will be hosting events which you can book on. Subjects include:

  • Faculty of Arts and Humanities
  • Economics and Finance
  • Biological and Life Sciences

Please note, some subject opportunities may take place outside of the afternoon. Times will be listed on the booking form.

Accessibility

Please let us know on the booking form if you have any mobility or accessibility requirements. We can offer a step-free campus tour route with advance notice.

Please be aware that Sheffield is quite a hilly city and our tours cover a fair amount of ground - around a mile or so for the main campus tour.

If you’d like to discuss your requirements with us first, please contact the Campus Tour team by telephone on 0114 222 9872 or email via myday@sheffield.ac.uk.
