What’s the difference between undergraduate and postgraduate study?

How you apply, fund, and study for a postgraduate taught degree is all very different to an undergraduate degree.

In most cases, you can simply apply for a postgraduate taught course through the University website using our Postgraduate Online Application Form. You don’t need to have completed your undergraduate studies to apply.

If you are an international student, you can apply directly or through a representative for your postgraduate taught degree.

Key dates and deadlines for postgraduate courses

Applications for 2025 entry are open

Postgraduate taught degree programmes typically run for a year, but can be longer depending on the type of qualification you’re studying and whether you study full-time or part-time. Take a look at our postgraduate course listings for detailed course information, including programme duration.
