The Student Information Desk is a key student and graduate service, answering a wide range of enquiries every day. We also aim to provide a comprehensive referral service where we are unable to assist directly.

Temporary change to our drop-in location 

From 6 July 2026, the Student Information Desk drop-in service is temporarily moving to Level 6 of the Students’ Union building while our normal location is being refurbished.

We expect to return to our usual location on Level 3 (ground floor) of the Students Union from September 2026.

Our opening times, email and live chat services are not affected.

Opening times for graduate and third party enquiries:

  • Monday: 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Tuesday: 10am to 4:30pm
  • Wednesday: 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Thursday: 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Friday: 9.30am to 4.30pm

Available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm.

Our live chat service is for third parties and graduates who are unable to come onto campus.

We encourage you to come to the Student Information Desk drop-in service in the Students' Union for a quicker service (number 120 on the University Location Map).
