Meet and Greet service: September 2024
The University's Global Campus team will be running a Meet and Greet airport pick-up service from Manchester Airport to the University of Sheffield from 14 September to 24 September inclusive.
Overview
The service is offered to all new international students.
Coaches will take students from Manchester Airport to the University campus area in Sheffield. There will be two coach departures from Manchester Airport each day, at 11am and 3pm.
What will happen on the day
Students will be met at Manchester Airport and accompanied to Sheffield by members of our student Global Campus Ambassador team.
When booking the service, you will be asked for details of your accommodation in Sheffield. Where possible, we will take you to your residence or nearby.
Booking the service
The service will open for bookings at the beginning of July.
You can express interest in using the service by completing the form below and we will notify you when bookings are about to open.

We expect to be able to take all new students who book to use the service before bookings close in early September.
Cost
The cost of the service is £25 for students and £30 for any friends or family members who may be accompanying you.
Luggage
Luggage space on the coaches is limited, so where possible we ask that you restrict your luggage to two items in addition to your cabin bag.
We will do our best to accommodate all reasonable luggage requests, so if you will be bringing more than two pieces, let us know on the expression of interest form or by contacting us at globalcampus@sheffield.ac.uk.
