Roma populations and health inequalities

Off

This research project, led by Dr Lois Orton focuses on working with self-defined Roma communities in England and Hungary to develop creative, critical and empowering approaches to mobilise Roma knowledge on the policy ‘problem’ of ‘Roma health’.

The aim is to bring to life contextually-embedded subaltern perspectives on the ‘who’, ‘what’ and ‘how’ of ‘Roma health’ so that currently privileged policy problematisations can be rethought.
