Event details
This event has taken place.
Description
Are you ready to explore the frontiers of bioscience research? Then join us for an exciting symposium to explore the use of AI in Bioscience research.
AI is a key emerging technology in the biosciences that is already generating interest and unlocking new opportunities that are helping to capitalise on rich sets of biological data, as well as related data from neighbouring fields. AI has been identified as one of the five critical technologies through which the UK can deliver prosperity, security and benefits to the UK and global society and the future of AI in bioscience research funding in the UK is promising, with a clear trend toward increased investment and support.
Date: 19th September 2024, 10am - 2pm
Location: The Diamond, Workroom 2
The symposium will bring together researchers from across the University of Sheffield to discuss the transformative power of AI in revolutionising our understanding of the natural world. Join us for a day of inspiring talks and invaluable networking opportunities.
