Integrated Civil Infrastructure Research Centre (iCAIR)
The Integrated Civil Infrastructure Research Centre (iCAIR) takes Sheffield’s expertise in advanced manufacturing and applies it to national civil engineering and infrastructure challenges.

The Laboratory for Verification and Validation (LVV) capitalises on the University's expertise for testing large engineering structures under real life vibration conditions.

Sustainable Aviation Fuels Innovation Centre (SAF-IC)
The Sustainable Aviation Fuels Innovation Centre is a bespoke research centre for the development and testing of sustainable aviation fuels. SAF-IC is jointly funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the University of Sheffield.
