The first thing you need to do is complete your registration.
Online Module Selection
Online module selection (OMS) is open. Please make sure this is completed before you arrive to enable you to start your studies. You can find all the information at this link that you need to select your modules.
Read the welcome from your Head of School
As the Head of School, I’d like to welcome you to our academic community and wish you many congratulations for the achievements that brought you with us. For some of you, this may be a return to the School of Languages, Arts and Societies, or to Sheffield, and, for others this might be a completely new experience in a new department, in a new university, city and country. In all cases, we are really looking forward to welcoming you. My colleagues and I are here to help, so please do get in touch if you have any queries or questions over the coming weeks. I wish you an excellent time with us, and look forward to seeing you soon.

Complete your Digital Induction
My Digital Induction is a guide to the apps and software you will use at Sheffield. You should complete this before you arrive to make sure you know how to access everything you need.
You will receive a lot of emails during your time at University, so it’s also important that you learn how to effectively manage your University inbox making sure that you don’t miss any important information.

Useful Information
Your New School
You may have already noticed some changes to how we’re referring to ourselves - we’re really excited that we’ll now be known as the School of Languages Arts and Societies! There won’t be any changes to your course, but it’ll mean you’ll be part of a wider community to learn from.
