Announcing three new IGSD team members

IGSD is delighted to welcome three new Research Associates.

We are thrilled to announce that Aishwarya Bhuta has joined the team at IGSD as a Research Associate in Strategy Support. Aishwarya is a postgraduate researcher from the Department of Geography at the University of Sheffield. Her PhD is supported by the ESRC White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership.

Aishwarya brings with her a wealth of experience, having spent several years conducting policy research in the development sector in India. Her insights and expertise will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to our team.

Janet Ewa-Abutu and Panrot Piwuna are both currently enrolled in the Environmental Change and International Development Master’s programme, bringing a wealth of knowledge and diverse interests to their roles.

Janet Ewa-Abutu, joining as a Research Associate - Communication Support, brings years of experience from the development sector in Nigeria. She has worked with international organisations as a Monitoring and Evaluation and Communications Specialist, skills that will undoubtedly benefit her role at IGSD.

Panrot Piwuna, our new Research Associate for Event Support, has a wide range of interests including Plant Biotechnology and User Interface/User Experience Design and experience in hospitality. Her unique blend of skills will be invaluable in her role in supporting IGSD’s events.
