Entry requirements

All applicants wishing to commence PhD studies with the iSchool are normally required to have a strong Master's degree, with an overall grade of 60% from a UK institution (or equivalent from an overseas institution).

However, the department will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis, including candidates with at least two years' work experience in a relevant field. We would also strongly advise such applicants to have already identified the potential supervisor(s) and have had an initial discussion of their research topic.
