Register with UHS - Students
Key information when completing the registration form.
Student status
You are asked if you are a student of a UK university in the form:
Answer Yes if you are:
- An existing student, or,
- You are due to commence studies as a University of Sheffield student within the next few months
Address
You must enter your university / term-time address in the form.
To prevent delays and ensure we have your full address you should select an address from the pre-generated list. You see this after you have entered your postcode.
The same accommodation block may have multiple postcodes, so make sure you enter the correct one. You can check this:
- On your tenancy agreement / booking information
- In the accommodation e-induction portal
- Via Royal Mail - Find an address
Your address will not appear in the pre-generated list if you enter the wrong postcode in the registration form.
If you are unable to find your correct address in the pre-generated list, you can enter your address manually. When doing this it is very important to ensure you state your full address, including: room number (if applicable), flat number, block number / letter, building name / number, street name and number etc..
