Dr Toby Gamlen

Toby leads the GTIMC’s manufacturing activities and is responsible for the manufacture of safe, high quality products for our customers and their patients. He also also brings considerable expertise to our R&D activities. 

Toby has over two decades of research experience in molecular biology and virology and moved into gene therapy in 2017 leading manufacturing at the Gene Medicine Group at the University of Oxford.
