"The GTIMC is the first step on a journey to establish Sheffield as an “Advanced Therapies Bio-accelerator”. The facility offers access to the clinical materials, facilities and expertise required to progress gene therapy research into clinical trials. By strengthening partnerships with academia, government-funded entities and commercial companies the GTIMC will allow us to keep pace with translational discoveries for new and potentially life changing treatments.
