Profile

Charlotte is an experienced producer, curator and manager of interdisciplinary projects, arts programmes, and organisational development projects. She has worked in a variety of contexts ranging from small, independent organisations to large, internationally recognised cultural venues, along with festivals, HE institutions, and community networks. Her work has involved securing funding from a variety of sources.

At the Grantham Centre, Charlotte builds partnerships to develop and deliver externally funded projects. She has a passion for sustainability, the research environment, and bringing people together around a shared vision.

Charlotte was previously Public Programme Manager at award-winning museum The Hepworth Wakefield, where she devised and managed an annual programme of interdisciplinary events and projects. Prior to this she was Director of Bloc Projects, where she led a capital and organisational change project and built local and UK-wide partnerships, and Producer for the Art Sheffield Festival, where she produced arts-science installations across fourteen venues including Sheffield’s iconic Moor Street Substation and Park Hill Flats.

With a background in Fine Art, Charlotte graduated with Distinction from an MA in Architectural History at The Bartlett, UCL, where her research formed a feminist, spatial and ecological analysis of urban waterways in the post-industrial, post-human landscape. She holds professional qualifications in Equality and Diversity, Project Management, and Event Management.

Charlotte was a trustee of Sheffield Civic Trust 2008 – 2014 and currently volunteers for the Sheaf and Porter Rivers Trust, which works to de-culvert Sheffield’s rivers, restoring wildlife habitats and creating an urban landscape adaptive to climate change.
