Profile

I am an Operations Assistant within the Multidisciplinary Engineering Education (MEE) department at the University of Sheffield. My role involves handling a range of responsibilities and requires close coordination with colleagues from academic, technical, and professional services to ensure everything functions smoothly.

I contribute towards the coordination of Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) within the Faculty of Engineering, which are student-led projects that develop students' practical skills and soft skills, such as teamwork. I support these initiatives by assisting with planning, communication, and logistics, helping to create the conditions in which such projects can run effectively. I also provide administrative and coordination support related to Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs), often engaging with students.

Before I joined the University of Sheffield, I gained operational and client-facing experience within an SME environment, where I supported day-to-day business operations, managed stakeholder communication, and worked with data to improve efficiency. This experience strengthened my ability to work across functions, manage various priorities, and approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.

I hold a Master's Degree from the London School of Economics, graduating with Distinction. During my time at LSE, I was actively involved in a range of student engagement roles that gave me first-hand exposure to operations in a large higher education environment. These experiences often placed me at the intersection of staff and students, supporting student-centred initiatives. This has reinforced my interest in developing a career within higher education operations and student experience.

Outside of work, I enjoy a quieter and reflective downtime by trying new kinds of tea, spending time with a good book, and planning future travels.
