The Centre for Engineering Education and Skills brings together the University of Sheffield's expertise in practical engineering education, technical skills development and engineering education innovation. Delivered by Multidisciplinary Engineering Education (MEE) and the AMRC Training Centre.

Diamond Engineering

Multidisciplinary Engineering Education (MEE) also known as Diamond Engineering is an award-winning, dedicated teaching department. Working with academic schools in the Faculty of Engineering, MEE delivers innovative practical laboratory sessions to undergraduate students.

The team is based in The Diamond which houses 14 specialist laboratories creating a fantastic place for interdisciplinary engineering education.

AMRC Training Centre

The University of Sheffield's AMRC Training Centre is an industry-leading facility dedicated to developing the engineers of tomorrow.

Drawing on University expertise and partnerships with global manufacturing leaders, the Centre provides apprenticeship programmes and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses to upskill and reskill today's workforce.
