Works are taking place to replace cold water tanks in the building which requires the water supply to be turned off to the entire building. Please note the fire suppression system is not affected by these works.
Staffed Reception Desk
A Facilities Assistant will be staffing the reception desk during normal office hours.
No usual out of hours access
Special arrangements have been put in place to facilitate deliveries during the closure, but access will be very restricted and includes no access to those who usually have 'out of hours' access.
Our estates team have worked with building users to agree the timing for this work, and building users are making their own alternative arrangements for continuing their work, meetings and/or activities from alternative locations.
Alternative cafes
The Diamond Kitchen will be closed throughout the works. The nearest alternative cafes are Heartspace Cafe and Jessop Cafe
Alternative study space
There will be no access to study spaces throughout the works. Information Commons is an alternative space to use for the week for anyone who usually carriers out their personal study in the Diamond. UCards are required at all times for accessing Information Commons.
