I joined the School of Economics as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in September 2026. I am an empirical macroeconomist with research interests in optimal monetary policy and the equilibrium interest rate. I received my PhD in Economics from King’s College London. Prior to my doctorate, I read Economics at the University of Cambridge and studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of London.

My research focuses primarily on topics in optimal monetary policy. I am particularly interested in the natural rate of interest and the dynamics of inflation and output, drawing on time-series and semi-structural methods to study how these macroeconomic concepts evolve over time.
