My research project involves the impact evaluation of the minimum wage law in India with primary focus on the domestic workers. Although a large number of workers are employed as domestic workers, they are still not properly regulated. Minimum wage law for domestic workers has been legislated only in some of states in India. My research focus is to evaluate the impact of this law on the wage and employment of these workers.
