Description

The Behavioural Economics Research Group of the School of Economics at the University of Sheffield is pleased to announce the Third Annual Sheffield Workshop on Behavioural Economics to be held on 3-4 June 2026. The workshop aims to bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners interested in advancing our understanding of behavioural economics and its applications.

We are excited to welcome Friederike Mengel (University of Essex) and Andreas Ortmann (University of New South Wales Business School) as our keynote speakers.

We invite paper submissions on topics in behavioural and experimental economics, including (but not limited to) cooperation, belief formation, fairness, gender, leadership, contests, markets, and applications to labour, environmental, and public policy. We welcome theoretical, experimental, and empirical contributions.

Submissions should be made using this link by 3 April 2026.

There is a £50 registration fee to attend the workshop.
