CCR members are involved in authoring a wide range of internationally excellent outputs, including books, journal articles, book chapters, policy reports. Details of these publications can be found on their individual staff profiles (please see the list of CCR members). The CCR is also the host for international journals and for its own occasional papers series.’

International Review of Victimology

The International Review of Victimology is the leading international peer-reviewed journal for victimological research. Areas covered include traditional areas of victimological research, such as the victim-offender relationship, victimisation surveys, victim compensation, the victim in the criminal justice system, reparation and restitution by offenders, crime prevention for victims and restorative justice, together with broader theoretical issues such as definitions of victimisation and the philosophy of victimology. This in turn opens the door to the consideration of political and human rights issues, including victims of war crimes, and contributions from a comparative perspective are especially welcome.

The IRV is published by SAGE. All subscription enquiries should be directed to SAGE.

Occasional Papers

The purpose of these papers is to share with others in the field of criminology, both within Sheffield University and without, ongoing work and developing ideas. The aim is to further this work through discussions and debate with colleagues.
