title case
Only use title case to write out the full official title of something, for instance:
The Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering.
We were given a tour of the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering.
Note that the connecting words (of, and) don't have initial capitals. There are no grammatical rules for title case but we prefer the mixture of upper and lower-case initials.
