Exploring landscape change and value: a case study of the urban waterways in Bangkok, Thailand

I graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree from the Landscape Architecture Department at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Thailand. I worked as a landscape designer before becoming an instructor at the  Landscape Department at King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabung (KMITL), Bangkok Thailand. This has led me to gain the opportunity to pursue the PhD research at the University of Sheffield. I have recently been interested in landscape change and its value in my doctoral research. My study chooses Bangkok's urban waterways to investigate their change and management, also the similarity and differentiation of the stakeholder's approaches through values and management plans. My work, therefore, becomes more related to land management and policy directions. These are both critical to influence the approach of landscape alteration and preparing to be more resilient to uncertain future change, especially in the urban setting.
