The Alfred Denny Museum is open for guided tours at 10am, 11am and 12pm on the first Saturday of each month. There are only 25 places per tour, so we recommend that you book early.
Upcoming events
Our next Alfred Denny Museum Tour is taking place on Saturday 1st March. Bookings will open at 11am on Wednesday 5th February.
Tours are free of charge. However, you can support the museum with a donation. Your donation will help to fund ongoing curation work, including specimen databasing, maintenance and student placements in the Museum.

- 10th May 2025 (available to book from 9th April 2025)
- 7th June 2025 (available to book from 14th May 2025)
- 12th July 2025 (available to book 11th June 2025)
- 2nd August 2025 (available to book from 16th July 2025)
- 13th September 2025 (available to book from 6th August 2025)
- 4th October 2025 (available to book from 17th September 2025)
- 1st November 2025 (available to book from 8th October 2025)
- 13th December 2025 (available to book from 5th November 2025)

If we have any cancellations, and you are able to attend at short notice, we will contact you about availability.
