- Profile
-
I joined the University of Sheffield in May 2026 as a University teacher in Community Pharmacy Practice. Alongside my academic role, I continue to practice as a community pharmacist across a range of settings, to ensure my teaching is informed by current clinical practice and the evolving role of community pharmacy.
My clinical experience allows me to bridge the gap between theory and practice to equip future pharmacists with the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours to provide safe, effective, compassionate patient-centered care.
My professional passion is to improve health outcomes, particularly for patients in deprived communities across England, where health inequalities, literacy, and barriers to accessing care can significantly impact individuals’ well-being. I have a particular interest in the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, and I recognise the role community pharmacy can play in supporting early intervention, patient education, and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
