Unsure which accommodation to visit? All of our award-winning sites are open to view, with student ambassadors available to host tours of their accommodation and all communal facilities!
Our accommodation locations
Ranmoor & Endcliffe is one site separated by a main road, and an en-suite room costs the same at both locations. Ranmoor has 1,225 beds, while Endcliffe has 3,158.
Our main City accommodation, St Vincent’s, has 528 beds and is a 15-minute walk from the Students’ Union.
Endcliffe tours
Meeting point:
The Edge, Endcliffe
Accommodation types available:
En-suite, shared bathroom and catered accommodation
Facilities:
Facilities at Endcliffe include the Edge Bar, social and study spaces, plus a music room with a Steinway piano.
Tour formats
- Earlybird accommodation tours (8am-9.30am) - Pressed for time or want a quieter tour? Our Endcliffe and Ranmoor accommodation is available to view as an earlybird tour. Head directly to Endcliffe where there is free on-site parking ( S10 3AF). From there you can also park and ride by catching a shuttle bus to main campus, with the option to leave the bus at the Wave.
- Regular accommodation tours (9.30am-4pm) - Allow 1 hour from departing main campus to arriving back (allow 90 minutes if walking to/from Endcliffe or Ranmoor). Once at the accommodation site, tours take approximately 20 minutes. All regular accommodation tour departures leave from the ‘Accommodation tours departure point’ outside the Information Commons library

Getting there and back
- Use our free shuttle bus from the accommodation tours departure point beside the Information Commons, or from outside the Wave on Whitham Road
- Free parking at Endcliffe (Stanage car park S10 3AF)
- Walk using our online walking maps, join one of our Campus ↔ Endcliffe walking tours through the popular student neighbourhood of Broomhill or make your own way to The Edge.
Ranmoor tours

The Ridge, Ranmoor

En-suite, self-catered accommodation
Facilities:
Facilities at Ranmoor include our fitness suite (free for all residents to use, no matter where you live), a newly installed kitchen area where our Residence Life team hold cooking classes and demonstrations for students to get involved in throughout the academic year, social and study spaces, plus a music room with a Steinway piano.

City accommodation tours (St. Vincent’s Place)
Meeting point:
Depart every 15 minutes from the accommodation tours departure point beside the Information Commons.

En-suite, self-catered accommodation
Facilities:
Facilities include a range of study spots, music and cinema rooms plus a communal kitchen area - all located in a beautifully converted church.
Tour formats
- Regular accommodation tours (9.30am-4pm) - Depart every 15 minutes from the accommodation tours departure point beside the Information Commons.
Getting there and back
- This tour involves a total of approximately 15 minutes of walking each way between the accommodation and main campus.
- Tour groups will be shuttled to our city accommodation site by student ambassadors.
- Accommodation staff will be able to support you with directions back to campus/ your onward location. To return to the start point please follow directions to the Information Commons.
