FAQs
- How is this event different from an Offer Holder day or Open day?
This event is hosted at a central London venue, rather than on our campus in Sheffield. We understand that visiting Sheffield can be difficult, so this pop-up event provides an opportunity for you to explore why Sheffield could be the right place for you! You’ll discover more about the student experience, accommodation options, support, and next steps. You'll also have the chance to speak with current students and faculty representatives about your course of interest or offer.
If you’re looking for a more in-depth, hands-on experience of the campus and facilities, we recommend attending an Offer Holder Day in Sheffield, where you can get a closer look at our campus, facilities, and take part in more detailed activities related to your course. There is no better way to picture yourself studying with us than by visiting the campus and seeing the city firsthand, but if that isn’t possible this London event is another great option!
- I've already booked an Offer Holder day, can I come to this event too?
Yes, you're very welcome to attend this event too! While the on-campus Offer Holder Days in Sheffield offer a more comprehensive view of student life, the London pop-up provides a convenient alternative if that suits you better.
- Who can I bring with me?
When booking, you'll be able to reserve a place for yourself and one guest.
- How do I get to the venue?
The venue is just a 5-minute walk from King’s Cross St. Pancras Station. The full address is: The Derby - St Pancras Meetings & Events, St Chad's St, London WC1H 8AG. Google Maps / Apple Maps
- Where should I go when I arrive?
Enter via the main entrance on St Chad's St, where a member of the team will be there to greet and direct you. You can arrive from 5:30pm and we’ll be getting started at 6pm.
- Can I get support with travel costs?
Our Access+ travel bursary is not available for this event. For details on eligibility for undergraduate open days and offer holder days on campus, find more information here.
- Does the venue have disabled access?
The venue is fully accessible with step free access to the event space where the event will take place.
- Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. You can cancel your booking at any time via the 'manage my booking' link in your confirmation or reminder emails. This frees up your spot for someone else, so we would kindly ask you to cancel if you can no longer attend!
- Will refreshments be provided?
Tea, coffee, water and light refreshments will be provided.
