The UK GGR Event 

Dates: 29 September to 1 October 

Location: The Royal Institution, London 

Host: the GGR-D Programme  

Bringing together researchers and innovators from the programme with policymakers, businesses, NGOs, investors and others with an interest in greenhouse gas removal (GGR), this free, celebratory event is the culmination of the 4.5-year UKRI-funded Greenhouse Gas Removal Demonstrators(GGR-D) Programme. We will share findings from research on assessing sustainable routes for large-scale removal in the UK, showcase the range of innovation and engagement projects supported through the programme, and foster debate on what comes next for GGR in the UK. The event will finish with an Innovation Day highlighting a range of UK start-ups that are tackling some of the most interesting GGR challenges facing us today. 

Day 1, 29 September: Inform. Please note that this day is open to GGR-D Programme staff and funders only. Read more on the CO2RE website.  
 
Day 2, 30 September: Impact. Open to GGR-D programme staff, stakeholders and anyone interested in GGR research developments and the implications for decision-makers. Read more on the CO2RE website.
