The Foundation Year programme for both Engineering and Science disciplines is managed by the School of Chemical, Materials, and Biological Engineering. If you do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry into your chosen degree, our Foundation Year offers an excellent starting point.

This one-year programme is designed for students who don’t meet the entry requirements for year 1. It prepares you for degree-level study in a supportive learning environment.
