Milly Larkin

Hiya! I’m Milly, a Student Recruitment Intern, who’s also a recent graduate from the University of Sheffield! I studied BA (Hons) Sociology with Social Policy for four years. Previous to my current role, I worked for the Department for Work and Pensions as an Executive Officer under the Birmingham and Solihull District, where I am originally from!

I’ve had a great student experience here and the social aspect is what made university so memorable for me. I jumped at the opportunity to experience a lot of things, I founded my own society (Alternative Society) and was president! I also was the social secretary for the beloved Duck Society. I could go into every little aspect of what I did at Sheffield - but you’d have to attend one of my talks to find out more!

I’m looking forward to travelling around the UK, promoting Higher Education and the University of Sheffield at careers fairs; as well as delivering talks and assisting in campus based events. Supporting prospective students through this important period in their life, as well as helping them decide whether University is the right fit for them, will be super rewarding!

In my spare time, some of the things I like to do is explore new things, go bouldering, play games and dive down rabbit holes on Wikipedia!
