Eve Tromans

Hi! I’m Eve and I am one of this year’s Student Recruitment Interns. I recently graduated from the University of Sheffield after studying a MBiolSci (Hons) Biology Integrated Masters degree for four years.

During my studies, I wanted to make the most of my time in Sheffield by participating in all aspects of student life. I hitchhiked across Europe two years in a row with the University’s BUMMIT Charity Hitchhiking Society, raising money for a variety of locally based charities. I volunteered regularly with the Alfred Denny Museum and was president of the Entomology Society. One of my favourite memories of university was travelling to Borneo to conduct fieldwork in the rainforest with my coursemates for a third year Biology project. I enjoy exploring Sheffield as a city in my free time, visiting the many independent shops and cafes with my friends.

I am looking forward to travelling around the UK to meet with prospective students and share what an amazing experience I had at Sheffield!
