The SCHARR Transcribers Group (STG)

SCHARR has a team who can transcribe interviews, focus group discussions etc via the university JobShop, as long as the project budget is held by the University. Each has completed Information Governance training and works to guidelines approved by the SCHARR Information Governance Committee

About the service

The cost of the transcription service is very competitive and an added advantage is that researchers can be in direct and personal contact with the transcriber or transcribers working on their project.

All those conducting research interviews and running focus groups should ensure they follow the audio and video recordings guidelines in the SCHARR IG Policy Section 3.

Anyone from the Division of Population Health who wants to make use of this service should first read the guidelines for allocators, then complete the request form below:
