Robert Stern elected Fellow of the British Academy

Prokhorov Centre member Robert Stern has been elected a Fellow of the British Academy in recognition of his research into the history and ideas of Immanuel Kant and post-Kantian European philosophy.

It is a great honour to be elected to this position, and I only hope I can live up to the high standards of the Fellowship. It will be invaluable to be able to interact with such an illustrious group of scholars, and it will hugely benefit my research in the future.

He joins a community of leading minds that include the classicist Dame Mary Beard, historian Sir Simon Schama, and philosopher Baroness Onora O'Neill.

Historic Fellows include Dame Frances Yates, Sir Winston Churchill, Baroness Mary Warnock, CS Lewis, Seamus Heaney, and Beatrice Webb.

Robert Stern organises the God and the Good lecture series, which is part of the Sheffield Annual Arts and Humanities Prokhorov Lectures.
