Scholarships for home fee-paying students

We offer postgraduate scholarships, including awards designed to support students from underrepresented or widening participation backgrounds — such as those who have taken part in our Access programmes, are from low-income households, come from one of the more deprived areas of the country, are carers, care leavers, estranged students, disabled students, or from a Black, Asian and other minority ethnic background. 

The Aziz Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships offer financial and professional support to British Muslims who are dedicated to bringing positive change to society. 

Scholarships are awarded to UK individuals with career aspirations in arts and culture, law, media and journalism, policy (excluding health policy), sports, sustainability and the environment, technology, or philanthropy and grantmaking. 

Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship for their tuition fees and access to a programme of training days and career mentors via Aziz Scholarships Plus and the Aziz Scholars Association.

Peter Warr Postgraduate Scholarship

The University of Sheffield is offering one scholarship to a home fee-paying student joining the Business and Organisational Psychology MSc. The successful applicant will have the £5,000 award paid towards their tuition fees. 

This scholarship is for a student who meets at least one of our widening participation criteria.

The Scott & Caroline Beaumont - Neuroscience Postgraduate Scholarships

The University of Sheffield is offering two scholarships for home fee-paying students starting an eligible taught postgraduate course in the Neuroscience Institute. The successful applicants will have the £10,000 award paid towards their tuition fees. 

These scholarships are for students who meet at least one of our widening participation criteria.

Ragdoll - School of English Postgraduate Scholarships

The University of Sheffield is offering two scholarships for home fee-paying students starting a taught postgraduate course in the School of English. The successful applicants will have the £10,000 award paid towards their tuition fees.

The Dan Walker Journalism Scholarship

The University of Sheffield is offering two Dan Walker Journalism for home fee-paying students starting a taught postgraduate course in MA Journalism. The successful applicants will have the £10,000 award paid towards their tuition fees.

Elite Sports Performance Scheme (ESPS)

The Elite Sports Performance Scheme (ESPS) aims to help elite level athletes at the University of Sheffield maintain their sporting success alongside their course. The support ESPS athletes receive include strength and conditioning, physiotherapy support, lifestyle mentoring (psychology and nutrition), and peak S10health gym memberships. Some athletes could receive a £1,000 award or one year's accommodation for free.
