NICE Methods Guide updates

NICE has published the update to the Guide to the Methods of Technology Appraisal.

The following projects, which have contributed to the process, were initiated by NICE and conducted by the DSU:

• The use of cost minimisation analysis for the appraisal of health technologies

• Modelling carer health-related quality of life

• Mapping EQ-5D-5L to 3L

• CHTE2020 sources and synthesis of evidence

• Mapping for technology appraisals

• CHTE2020 qualitative evidence

• MVH related QoL when sufficient data is not directly observed

• Utility values in children

• Future unrelated costs

• Estimating EQ-5D by age and sex for the UK
