Unsettling migrants: permanent temporariness in the UK and Australia

This collaborative grant with Dr Martina Boese, funded by La Trobe University, Melbourne, will pilot community based research methodologies with refugees and migrants.

The project will examine the emergence of prolonged insecurities experienced by groups previously able to secure permanent residency who are increasingly subject to visa restrictions and socio-legal impediments to achieving settlement.
