We are pleased to share that Centre for Machine Intelligence Director Professor James Marshall and Deputy Director Dr James Law have contributed to two Rapid Technology Assessments (RTAs) on Robotics and Humanoids, conducted by the Government Office for Science.

The newly released public-facing summaries highlight key insights from these assessments, which explore the current state and future impact of these technologies. Additionally, an introductory video by the Government Chief Scientific Adviser (GCSA) offers an engaging overview of the Robotics RTA's findings.

It is excellent to see both the Centre for Machine Intelligence and the University of Sheffield’s School of Computer Science playing a role in shaping national discussions on emerging technologies.
