Organised visits

We welcome local schools and colleges to visit the Library, for tours and for librarian-led workshops. Students can develop university-level research skills and learn more about our unique library collections.

How to apply

Please speak to your school about arranging a visit.

They can contact us by email: schoolsliaison@sheffield.ac.uk.

Online resources

We provide online resources to support students in Years 12 and 13. These resources help students develop their research skills and enhance their academic work, while also supporting the transition to university-level study.

Request for materials

Some students may also want to make use of library materials, particularly to support independent projects, such as the EPQ. Students may ask their teachers, school librarians, or other responsible adults to fill in this form to allow them to visit Western Bank Library and consult materials onsite.
