Molly James is a Research Associate with the Understanding Risk Group in the School of Psychology at Cardiff University. 

She is an environmental social scientist who studies the social dimensions of emerging climate technologies. Her research sits at the intersection of psychology, geography, and science and technology studies, in the domains of sociotechnical systems, risk communication, public engagement, and equity. She has particular expertise in the emerging technology risks of carbon dioxide removal and solar radiation modification. 

She holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Birmingham.
