The University has a legal responsibility to ensure that all its workers have the legal right to work in the UK before they start work.  

You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK before you are able to start work or paid training for the University.

If you are a current student

If you are a current student (student) of the University of Sheffield, your right to work check will be arranged and conducted by the SU Employability & Placements Hub Team.

If you are NOT a current student

If you are not a current student of the University of Sheffield (non-student), your right to work check will be arranged and conducted by your hiring manager/school.
