Service Desk Analyst

This is a customer-focused IT role within an established Service Desk team. You will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to university students and staff via our phone line, Self Service portal, live Chat and our face-to-face TechBar service. Main duties include answering queries, identifying and solving problems, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and general IT services. You will document support tickets and maintain accurate records of support interactions for progressing complex issues to the appropriate technical support team. You will demonstrate strong customer service and team working skills, have an interest in IT along with superb communication skills.

Junior Systems Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on providing excellent and creative support to academic staff and students, in the use of learning technologies.

You’ll be part of a team that plays an essential role in maintaining and developing our education products to support day-to-day learning and teaching activities. You’ll provide third-line support for the daily operations of a range of digital products which directly support teaching, learning and the overall student experience.

You will work with colleagues within the Education, Digital Learning Team and many of our suppliers to develop existing and implement new products, with the main focus on support and ease of use.
