Cognitive Science and Philosophy of AI MA

Explore the cutting edge of research into the nature of the mind and behaviour on this highly flexible course, in which philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, anthropology and artificial intelligence come together to discover how the mind works.

Postgraduate Diploma

We offer a Postgraduate Diploma in Philosophy, following the same pattern as the MA Programmes but assessed by coursework essays alone (with no dissertation).

The course runs for nine months.

Candidates take four modules (120 credits), and write four essays of 4-6,000 words, or eight essays of 2-3,000 words.

We do not accept candidates onto the diploma directly. All students are admitted onto the MA initially, but may be transferred to the diploma programme in the course of the year.
