Paul Drayton

My first degree was B.Sc., in biochemistry from the University of Bristol. After a career in teaching, I completed an M.A. And an M.Res. in philosophy at Birkbeck.

 

I am interested in moral responsibility and moral agency and my M,Res.  dissertation looked at the challenge presented by situationist circumstantial moral luck. My current thesis is focussed on blame. In particular I am interested in the ways in which the imbalances in power between different groups may distort out practices of blame.
