Håkon is interested in how current approaches to philosophical practice alienate us form the world we think about. Drawing on Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Perception, he is developing the idea of earthbound philosophy as a supplement to "high altitude" thinking. Areas of interest include: Aesthetics, Non-Western Philosophy, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Nature, Phenomenology, Nonhuman Turn, Process Philosophy.
