Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Join our quarterly PPG meetings to discuss aspects of our services and help identify areas we can improve.
Overview
The Patient Participation Group (PPG) comprises a diverse panel of University Health Service staff, including both clinical and administrative team members. In this role, you will represent the views of the broader student-patient community.
The PPG convenes quarterly to create a collaborative space where patients and staff can discuss shared concerns and interests.
Attending the PPG not only contributes to personal growth but also offers valuable experience in discussions and decision-making skills that will benefit you during your time at university and in your future career. This opportunity allows you to enhance your networking and communication abilities while making a meaningful impact on the initiatives at UHS.
You can also read the PPG Terms of Reference for further information about scope of discussions and how the sessions are run.
Register your interest
To register your interest to attend the next PPG meeting, please complete the PPG Google Form. We welcome as many student voices as possible, so there is no requirement to attend every meeting. Our membership works on a drop-in basis, and this form helps us estimate how many attendees to expect.
To attend a PPG meeting, you must be a registered patient at the University Health Service. We ask that you provide your email address on the form so we can contact you if needed before the meeting.
The form also includes space to suggest agenda items. Please note that, depending on time constraints, we may not be able to discuss all submitted items during the meeting. If this happens, we will consider moving the item to a future meeting.
Our next meeting is due to take place on Thursday 23rd April at 12-1pm.
