Dr Rockett recieved a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from the University of Manchester Institue of Science and Technology in 1980. Dr Rocket was a Lecturer in Electronic Systems at the University of Sheffield from 1990-2025.
Dr Rockett has specific expertise relating to physics-informed genetic programming in the field of machine learning for engineering, a domain in which his expertise is recognised internationally.
