Event details

Description

This is a confidential one-to-one wellbeing drop-in session with a Specialist Mentor. If you’d like to chat about how university is going, please come along. Our mentors can provide wellbeing support and signposting to support disabled students in making a positive transition to university life.

When you arrive inside 301 Glossop Road, go to the reception desk on your right and let them know you are here for a mentor session. Please sit in the reception area; a mentor will come and collect you when your session is ready to start.

Some examples of why you might attend a mentor session:

  • Looking for reassurance that you’re doing all the right things to make a good start at university
  • Feeling overwhelmed by the transition to university and need space to talk or process
  • Facing a specific challenge with your studies, flatmates, or accommodation like you’d like to talk about
  • Realising you need more support and want advice to set it up
  • You might be feeling a bit stuck or confused and would like some help to work out your next steps

Whatever your reason, our mentors will provide you with support or signpost you to someone who can.

This session is also running on Tuesday 15th September, Thursday 17 September and during Welcome week.
