  1. Go to Google Meet's website: meet.google.com.
  2. If you're not already signed in to your Google account, sign in using your Google credentials.
  3. On the Google Meet website, select "new meeting" then select "start an instant meeting".
  4. You will be in a virtual meeting room.

  1. Go to Google Calendar (calendar.google.com) and sign in to your Google account if you're not already signed in.
  2. Click on a specific date and time on the calendar grid to create a new event.
  3. Enter the event title, date, and start/end time.
  4. Add any relevant event details, such as a description or agenda.
  5. In the "Add guests" section, start typing the email addresses of the participants.
  6. Google Calendar will automatically generate a Google Meet link for the event. Participants will receive an invitation with the meeting details and the Google Meet link.
  7. Once you've added the necessary details, click the "Save" button to create the event.
  8. At the scheduled time, you and the participants can join the meeting by clicking on the Google Meet link provided in the event invitation.

  1. When you join a Google meeting you will be prompted to allow your camera & microphone.
  2. To do this select the lock icon located to the left of the address bar.
  3. Select the microphone and camera sliders.
  4. Once these have been selected your microphone and camera should work.

  1. Join or create a google meeting.
  2. Access Screen Sharing:
  3. Select the icon that looks like a rectangle with an arrow located at the bottom.
  4. A menu will appear, allowing you to choose what to share:
    Your Entire Screen: Choose this option to share everything on your screen.
    A Window: If you select this option, a list of open windows will appear. Choose the specific window you want to share.
    A Chrome Tab: If you're using Google Chrome, you can choose to share a specific tab in your browser.
  5. After selecting the screen, window, or tab you want to share, select the "Share" button.
  6. To stop sharing your screen, click on the "Stop sharing" button, usually located at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Create or join a Google meet session
  2. When you would like to send a reaction select the face icon.
  3. Select the reaction you wish to send.

  2. When you wish to raise your hand select the hand icon located at the bottom.
Turn on captions

  1. Start a new meeting or join an existing one.
  2. Select the three dots located at the bottom right corner of the screen to open the menu.
  3. Select "Turn on captions."
  4. Real-time captions will start appearing at the bottom of the screen, providing text representation of spoken words.
  5. If you want to turn off captions, select the three dots menu again and select "Turn off captions."

  3. You will now see the joining details.
