Speech and Language Therapy offer holder days
As part of your offer holder day at Sheffield, you'll be spending some quality time getting to know the Speech and Language Therapy team in the School of Allied Health Professions, Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery and your chosen course.
Arriving at your session
Find your session time and starting location for your offer holder day from the dates below.
You'll need to arrive around 30 minutes before your session starts so we can scan your QR code to register you.
If you arrive late for your booked session, head to one of our Information Hub tents spread around campus where event staff will be able to assist you.

Speech and Language Therapy offer holder timetable
You will have booked to visit the University from 10am to 12.30pm on your offer holder day. Here's what to expect from your time with us. Timings are approximate and are subject to change, and so we recommend checking back prior to the event.

Activities
You'll have the chance to take part in a tour and practical demonstrations related to Speech and Language Therapy to give you a real taste of what it's like to be a student at Sheffield.
We run a range of activities on our applicant days and the below examples will give you an insight into what you could be doing on the day.
Taster Lecture
Take a deep dive into a specific Speech and Language Therapy topic in our taster session, delivered by teaching staff from the course.
Tour of the in-house Speech and Language Therapy clinic from current students
As part of the Open Day, you'll receive a tour of the in-house clinic from our current students. You can the location of the in-house clinic here: Google Maps / Apple Maps.
Here, you'll get to see the Speech and Language Therapy clinic rooms, where we support adults and children with a range of communication needs. You will also get the chance to see other key spaces within our School.
Explore our Clinical Resources
You'll get the opportunity to explore speech and language therapy resources, where there will be a range of Speech and Language Therapy assessments and materials available to view. Current students and a University Teacher, and qualified Speech and Language Therapist, will also be on hand to answer any questions and to demonstrate any of the resources for you.

Bringing a guest
When booking, you'll be able to reserve a place for yourself and one guest at your subject activities. To ensure safe venue capacities, the department will be unable to accommodate any additional visitors.
However, you're welcome to bring additional guests to accompany you on the day, and we would encourage these guests to take part in our range of central exhibitions and tours while the department activities are running.
